1.4 SUBMITTALS

  1. Submit under provisions of Section 01300.

  2. Samples:
    1. Selection Samples: Submit actual samples of surfacing materials to illustrate full range of colors, patterns, and finishes available.
    2. Verification Samples: Submit two samples, each 12 inches square, illustrating each selected surfacing material in specified color, pattern, and finish.

  3. Manufacturer's Instructions:
    1. Submit manufacturer's printed installation instructions for each product.
    2. Submit manufacturer's Safety Data Sheets (M.S.D.S.) for each adhesive.

1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

  1. Deliver, store, protect, and handle products in accordance with provisions of Section 01600.
  1. Store surfacing materials to prevent breakage and marring of surfaces in accordance with manufacturer's printed instructions.

      where each type is to be used. A schedule may be
      useful for that purpose, if the types are not to be
      indicated on the drawings. The following is a
      suggested format for such a schedule, with an
     example.

      names used in the specification rather than the
      actual product numbers. Be sure that the
      specification identifies each different product by
      a name that can be referred to in the schedule or
      on the drawings.

      variations in color, pattern, or finish that need
      to be scheduled.
