DESCRIPTION:

Panolam Surface Systems (www.panolam.com) is a leading manufacturer of interior surfaces, including high-pressure decorative laminates, thermally fused laminates, and a variety of specialty laminates for decorative as well as industrial applications.  We are currently seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to work in our Corporate Office in Shelton.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pricing product for our Territory Account Managers throughout the United States and Canada. 
  • Extensive ad-hoc reporting to determine market trends and assist upper management in establishing pricing and sales strategies.
  • Responsible for collection, analysis and reporting of sales data in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity.
  • Create standard and customized reports and conduct quantitative analysis of sales metrics
  • Running month-end reports for the sales representatives.
  • Maintain system information within our billing software (Peoplesoft)
  • Perform other duties as required.

 


REQUIREMENTS:

  • An extremely well-organized and detail-oriented person with a strong ability to develop and maintain efficient system of organization.
  • Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects/assignments at one time and deliver high quality results in a timely fashion.
  • Energetic and positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel and pivot tables.
  • Two + years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Experience with query or report writing desired.
  • Experience with SFDC.com a plus.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft a plus.
