Panolam Industries continues its commitment to
manufacturing environmentally responsible products
with FRL® Fiber Reinforced Laminate.

Following the precedent established by Panolam's other
high–pressure laminate products–– Pionite®, Micastat®,
ChemGuard and MelCor®–– FRL® has been awarded
GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification.

The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) is an
independent, non-profit organization that overseas the
GREENGUARD Certification Program. The goal of the GEI
is to improve public health and quality of life by helping
manufacturers build better and safer products.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
Information
Following is information regarding FRL® Fiber Reinforced
Laminate produced by Panolam at our Pioneer Plastics facility
in Auburn, Maine.

MR Credit 4.1 Recycled Content:
The recycled content of our high-pressure laminates
range from 1% to 3% post-industrial recycled content
and 0% post-consumer recycled content. This is based
on process knowledge of the production of the laminate.

MR 5.1 Local/Regional Materials Credit:
These laminates are produced by Panolam's Pioneer Plastics
Corporation, 1 Pionite Road, Auburn, ME 04211.

SCAQMD Rule 1168:
This is dependent on the adhesive/coating applied by the
fabricator using the laminate sheets.

EQ 4.5 Low Emitting Materials (LEEDS for Commercial
Interiors):

Panolam FRL® Fiber Reinforced Laminates are GREENGUARD
Indoor Air Quality Certified.
